Sushi Masterclass At The Batch Cafe

If you've always wanted to learn to make your own sushi, or are simply looking for something a little bit different to do with friends this is just the thing for you!

The Batch Cafe is a gorgeous cafe based at Greenhill Farm in Bletchingdon, we run regular sushi-making workshops during the evenings when the cafe is closed with co-owner Carl serving a wonderful choice of beverages including matcha latte and Asahi beer.

Our next sushi event is on Thursday 13th September 7-9pm.  You will be welcomed with a glass of sake on arrival and we will get straight down to business at 7pm.  We will make 4 different types of sushi including hosomaki (thin rolls), temaki (hand rolls), uramaki (inside out rolls) and nigiri (oblong rice balls with topping).  This is a hands-on event, you will learn to roll your own sushi and eat as you go along.  Bottomless green tea is included throughout the evening, if you prefer something different there is a fully stocked bar at The Batch.

We will have an abundance of food including many traditional Japanese ingredients.  Raw fish, cooked fish, cooked meat and  plenty of veggies are available making this class suitable for non-fish eaters and vegetarians as well as traditional sushi fans.
