School Holiday Sushi Workshops

Kids love sushi!   And even if they say they don't, they usually do by the end of one of our workshops...

We are running our popular sushi-making workshop for children aged 6+ at The Plough, Upper Wolvercote this February half term.  The workshop will run on Wednesday 19th February from 11am - 12.15pm.

This is a hands-on event where the children will learn to make and eat their own sushi. We won't be including any raw fish, the kids will use familiar ingredients such as tuna mayo, seafood sticks, breaded chicken and heaps of crunchy veggies.  We will make inside out rolls, veggie hosomaki and rice balls with a variety of toppings.

The price is £15 per child which includes all ingredients.  Please provide your child with a decent sized box with lid and cool bag to take any uneaten sushi away (sushi must be eaten or refrigerated after the class to remain safe).

An adult will be required to stay on site during the workshop, the bar is open and the pub serve food from 12pm.  Please make sure you let us know about any food allergies, special dietary requirements or anything else we should know about your child when booking.  You will receive an email before the event to request sushi filling choices.

Numbers are limited.  Payment is required in full to book your place.  Tickets are non-refundable.  We reserve the right to cancel and refund the cost of the ticket if the minimum requirement are not sold.  Please mention when booking any food allergies and other important information about your child.  Alcohol will only be served to over 18s.  Parent/carer must remain on site for the duration of the workshop. Pre-order required for all ingredients.
